Important information

On 9 August 2021, Westpac announced it had agreed with TAL Dai-ichi Life Australia Pty Limited (TDA) to sell Westpac Life Insurance Services Limited (WLISL). The sale of WLISL to TDA was completed on 1 August 2022 and WLISL changed its name to TAL Life Insurance Services Limited (TLISL).

Effective 1 April 2025, all assets and liabilities referable to the life insurance business of TLISL was transferred to TAL Life Limited (TAL) a subsidiary of TDA (Transfer). Additionally, previously branded BT, Westpac and St.George policies were rebranded, and in turn the policy holders will receive all communications directly from TAL with TAL branding.

How to locate your Policy documents

Policy documents are based on the commencement date of your Policy, which can be found on your policy schedule and renewal letters.

Please note that, in some cases where your application for insurance was made immediately prior to the introduction of a revised PDS, the relevant PDS may depend on the date of your application.
